They speak to the quiet, lonely void by removing materialistic connections to the world while fostering the need to connect. These girls are hungry to connect and be attached to something other than themselves. The flocking enhances the depth of what's missing in the digital age. Removing the background and tangible objects from the image highlights their essence and their disconnection from everything and everyone.
